Another Friday and another half hour exercise on the Wii Fit. My BMI has gone up slightly, but have gained less than a pound (last night's Chinese food?). Burned off 95kcal today, plus 1994 steps to the supermarket and back. It's cold out there.
I'm feeling fitter than when I started this last week. I'd like to see more pounds drop off, but I'm glad to not be gaining lots.

Back to square one
So after a pre-Christmas celebration over the weekend I went up to 13st 5lb, but today I'm back to 13st 1lb - which is where I started. After half an hour on the Wii Fit I've burned 93 kcal. I am eating more healthily and increasing the amount of fruit and vegetables I have. Keep with it.

Friday exercise
Day 4 and I'm pleased that I am still doing half an hour a day of exercise. It feels like a slow start, but I am sure I will see the benefits in the long run. I hope to be able to continue, although the Christmas holidays may be a bit of a hiccup.
No increase in weight today - yeah! and another 93kCal burned. Cutting out some of the favourite foods will be hard, but the odd treat will keep me going. Hopefully next week will see a drop in weight.

Day 3 of exercise
Hmmm... A mixed result today. Another half an hour exercise on the Wii Fit, and 133 kCal burned, but my weight has gone up 2lbs. That means I need to lose 6lbs for my first target. Now I understand weight can fluctuate during the day by a couple of pounds, and I did weigh myself slightly earlier than the last couple of days, but even so that's not good.
Last night's meal was pasta chicken carbonara. Need a lighter meal tonight I think.

24 hours into the diet
Hmmm... No change in my weight. At least it hasn't gone up.
Did half an hour on Wii Fit and spent 93 kCals. Felt easier than yesterday.
Perhaps I need to think about what I'm eating too. I do like too many cakes.

Exercise
I use a Wii Fit to exercise. Although it has been nearly a year since I last did any. But back to it today. Half an hour light exercise to get me started. No point over doing it and not wanting to return to it tomorrow.

Hello. I live in the UK and want to do something about my health and fitness. I am 41 and 5′ 11″ tall. My weight at the start of this blog is 13 stone (182 lbs or 82.55 kg).
According to the NHS my BMI (Body Mass Index) is 25.41 which is classed as overweight. Their information suggests I am at an increased risk of becoming ill with problems such as high blood pressure, heart disease and cancer.
